Vive Grip
A downloadable code framework
Vive Grip helps you to highlight, grab, and interact with game objects using the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift+Touch through SteamVR. It leverages Unity's physics engine with a simple interface that abstracts the powerful ConfigurableJoint component. Examples are included for creating weighted objects, levers, dials, guns, and more.
The code has a focus on readability and abstraction. This makes it a great learning resource and easy to extend for your unique needs.
Best of all, Vive Grip is donationware. Everything here is always free on Github and I encourage contributing back code.
The SteamVR Plugin 1.x is a prerequisite and must be installed first. SteamVR Plugin 2.0 changed the input system and broke compatibility with Vive Grip.
